During April of every year I spend a few weeks on our farm Dina which forms part of the Duwisib River Conservancy bordering the Namib desert South of Sossus vlei. The endless beauty and ever changing moods of the Namib does not only communicate a sense of time and space, but also one’s transience in this landscape that embraces me so completely.
